A full service remodeling firm taking pride in what we do.
DARKHORSE

Dezign Build

We will stay small on purpose.
Large firms operate like a big yellow school bus - you can't miss them, they turn slowly, they need a lot of room to brake, and their blind spots are enormous.
Big companies are a better fit for new home construction and
neighborhood development. They shine in these arenas.
Small companies are a better fit for remodeling and renovations.
The construction industry changes constantly and it is important to keep up, innovate, and adjust; sometimes quickly, like when COVID first landed.
By keeping our volume small, we can:
-
pass along our overhead savings to you
-
personalize the design process
-
adjust the normal to meet your needs
-
offer great quality & install it right
-
safeguard the jobsite schedule
-
tailor the jobsite for you & your family

materials, & space. The result is a smooth design process that is well thought out.

production side of Darkhorse.

has a great eye for quality plus a knack for scheduling. He works well with tradesmen, subs, & county inspectors resulting in a smooth production process that is done right.
As mentioned above, we see a lot of inherent dangers with large firms doing remodeling. Big companies don't value your experience and the final outcome; they see value in money. They love making a profit and they love sharing their values with you by talking about their huge discounts. They brag about huge material discounts and being able to pass those savings along to you; which is some ways is true but it is the not full story. A big company's material savings is offset by their high overhead and big payroll. In reality, big and small remodeling companies are highly competitive and similar in price. It's the talent, it's the services, it's the experience, and it's the final product which really sets each company apart.
